Do you have a club or group that would like to do a service project in the Columbus Area?

The volunteer center can assist in facilitating projects with publicity, helping with donations, and organizing events.  By registering with us as an individual or group, we can also keep you informed of new opportunities and service projects sponsored by the volunteer center. Contact us.

Platte County Historical Society

The historical society has a couple rooms at the museum that could use painting!  Call Cheri at 564-1856.

            LARGE PROJECTS IN PARK SYSTEM

            1. New landscaping around 7th street Pawnee Park entrance (around arch)

            2. Develop an of arch to place on pillars at Pawnee Park north entrance

            3. Put up Pawnee Park foundation sign removed when Water Park was constructed.

            4. Repair Union Pacific monument in Frankfort Square

            5. Paint and refurbish wood structures on bell towers

            1. Mulch trees in park system

            2. Pull weeds in flower beds
