CALLING ALL VOLUNTEER MANAGERS

The purpose of the network is to have a time for local volunteer managers to network, brainstorm best practices and challenges, and provide educational opportunities for volunteer     managers.  Below is an agenda for the organizational meeting:

When: Monday, March 15, 2010

Time: 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where:  LOCATION CHANGE - MEETING WILL BE AT THE UNITED WAY CONFERENCE CENTER IN THE COLUMBUS FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER (0LD HOSPITAL)

11:30 to 12:15— lunch and networking

Noon to 12:15—continue lunch, Volunteer Center updates

12:15—12:30 -  roundtable discussion with brainstorming on current challenges for volunteer managers and sharing of best practices.   We will also be taking YOUR feedback on this new  networking opportunity.

12:30—12:50  - Video on volunteer management.  Videos are from the Lending Library of the

Corporation for National and Community Service in Washington D.C.

There is no cost to attend.  Please RSVP to the Volunteer Center at 562-5462.  Lunch is brown bag or let us know if you would like to have Godfathers Pizza ($3 a person).
